The Alamo City Gator Club was formed and chartered in time for the 1995 football season with Denise Gates as the founder and first president. Initially the club met at Dundee's Bar and Grill on North San Pedro near the airport. After two seasons, Dundee's changed ownership to a Chinese Restaurant and the club moved to C.J.'s Sports Bar on Starcrest Drive near the Blossom Athletic Center and Northeast Stadium. We stayed there for 3 years until the bar failed to open for our New Year's Day 2000 Citrus Bowl Game. We never spoke with them again! We then relocated to Fatso's Sports Garden for the 2000-05 football seasons and have found it to be an OK home. Now for the 2006 season, we have relocated to the Lion and Rose at 410 and Blanco.
